Who can use the club page?
If you are a full member of that club, the club page is on Free. If you are only a guest, the club can allow guests in — then you need Supporter or Pro.
How many aircraft can I keep in the workshop?
Free includes up to 50 models with spec sheets and photos. Supporter is 100, Pro is 250. If you already have more, you keep them — you just cannot add until you are under the cap or you upgrade. Need more than 250? Contact us — we will review your case.
Launch pricing?
Annual Supporter, Pro, or Club Business signed up by 1 September 2027 gets 50% off the first year. Monthly stays at list price. After that date, new annual plans are full price. Renewal after year one is the list annual rate — we'll tell you before anything changes.
How do I pay?
Checkout is live. Choose Supporter or Pro above, or Club Business for a verified club — you'll pay on Stripe. Cancel or update your card any time from Manage billing on your pilot profile or club admin.
What does “ad-free” mean — and what about selling a plane?
No advertising on the site (Supporter and Pro) means we do not show you RC ads while you use RCSpotter. It does not mean listing a plane is free.
The Sales Board is a noticeboard for verified club members. Anyone on Free, monthly, or a year plan still pays €2 to list an aircraft or a parts pack — unless you are on a year plan with included ads left: Supporter 2 aircraft + 2 packs per subscription year, Pro 5 + 5. Unused included ads do not roll to next year. Switching to monthly or Free ends leftover included ads. A gifted Pro plan does not include these ads. Paying does not skip the club-membership rule. What happens when my plan expires?
You keep your account and data. Nothing is deleted. Paid extras lock until you renew: full log tools, Parts Manager photos (you still see ones you already uploaded), Maintenance Manager, radio vault, and site ad-free. If you are over the hangar cap for the new plan, you keep those models but cannot add more. Leftover included Sales Board ads from a year plan also end. Live ads you already paid for run until their own end date.
Is there a lifetime founding price?
No. The live offer is 50% off the first year for annual Supporter, Pro, and Club Business until 1 September 2027. After that year, renewal is the normal annual price.
Why are there three kinds of weather?
Quick weather at the field (Supporter+) is a snapshot when you are there. Weather on the log (Pro) is stored with that flight. VOLMET is the club’s field-weather board — it comes with a verified club, not a pilot plan. Verified clubs also get nav charts (the field chart) at no charge.
Will people see my username?
At your club, members see your username by default — who’s flying, the planner, and other club tools. The public map only shows a count, never your username. You can stay anonymous in your profile any time. This is not a paid perk.
