VOLMET borrows its name from the aviation weather broadcasts pilots hear on HF/VHF radio — RCSpotter's is a unique RC flying-weather prediction system: club-field forecasts, preferred runway, and aircraft suitability, live in the Lounge and map drawer.

Unlocked for verified official clubs at no charge (see Terms §60). Paid Club Business adds events, analytics, and prominence — not weather access.

Common questions

Who gets a club page?

Full members on Free get the full Club Lounge. Guest flyers need Supporter or Pro if the club enables guest lounge access in steward settings.

Is hangar really 250 aircraft on Free?

Yes — Free includes up to 250 aircraft with full spec sheets. Running a club fleet or shop and need more? Contact us — we'll review your case.

Launch pricing?

Annual Supporter, Pro, or Club Business signed up by 1 September 2027 gets 50% off the first year. Monthly stays at list price. After that date, new annual plans are full price. Renewal after year one is the list annual rate — we'll tell you before anything changes.

How do I pay?

Checkout is live. Choose Supporter or Pro above, or Club Business for a verified club — you'll pay on Stripe. Cancel or update your card any time from Manage billing on your pilot profile or club admin.

Does my first model become the default?

Yes. Your first aircraft added to the hangar is automatically set as the default for check-in and logging.

What happens when my plan expires?

You keep your account and data. Features above Free tier lock until you renew — nothing is deleted.

Founding member lifetime discount?

There is no separate lifetime founding price. The live launch offer is 50% off the first annual year for Supporter, Pro, and Club Business until 1 September 2027. After year one, renewals are the list annual rate.

Community-first direction

We grow by pilots, clubs, and data — not by paywalling the field.

Verified clubs get complimentary VOLMET and core desk tools. Weather boards are for RC hobby use only — not manned aviation — and may be offline or inaccurate. See our Terms (§60).

Founding club program: earn one year of Club Business free when your verified club gets 20+ distinct members each logging at least one completed flight session over a 90-day window. Details in Terms (§63). The complimentary year is not granted automatically yet.
